Take & Bite
Take & Bite is a new company in Sydney selling waffles from mobile trailers. The owner asked me to design a new logo, stickers, and price lists for their trailers, with a focus on appealing to children and families at events and markets.

The project began with a detailed discussion to understand the owner’s vision. We aimed for a fun, vibrant, and inviting design that would captivate kids and parents. The logo needed to be playful and engaging, incorporating summertime and exotic elements, while the stickers and price lists had to be eye-catching and easy to read.

Thanks to clear communication and alignment of ideas, the project was completed efficiently. The final designs captured the family-friendly vibe of Take & Bite, creating a cohesive brand identity that is sure to attract attention at any event or market.
The main concept behind the logo was to combine an illustrative waffle with summer elements. The owner specifically requested the inclusion of a palm tree and the colour pink to match the crew's attire. After some quick sketches and discussions, we decided to emphasize these three key elements, focusing on children as the target audience. As a result, the final design depicts a waffle resting under a palm tree on a bed of soft whipped cream, capturing the essence of a delightful summer treat.

ILLUSTRATIONS
A series of waffle character illustrations are utilized as large format stickers on the trailers to enhance visibility at events. Each waffle character is designed based on the real appearance of waffles but rendered in a cartoonish style to maintain consistency with the logo and infuse the trailers with vibrant energy. These whimsical characters not only attract attention but also convey the playful and inviting atmosphere of Take & Bite's offerings.
